Feature Set:  

MailWasher Pro's features include a Getting Started Wizard, auto-deletion capabilities, address book import capabilities, a statistics module, bounce message feature, and FireTrust's FirstAlert. This program doesn't come close the level of features we found in our higher ranked products.

Ease of Use:  

MailWasher Pro runs separately from your email client, allowing you to view messages directly from your server before they enter your Inbox. It will work with several email applications including Outlook, Eudora, Netscape, or Mozilla.

Ease of Installation:  

Mailwasher Pro is simple to setup.

Stability:  

We did not encounter any difficulties with this product.

Customization:  

MailWasher Pro will allow you to create custom filters. For example, you could create a filter that checks for words in the Subject field like "Viagra" or "affordable".

Spam Filtering:  

MailWasher Pro uses multiple methods to filter your email messages. First, it checks your friends list. Then, it will query Internet Spam databases SpamCop.net, and FirstAlert (FireTrust's database). However, we found that this product did not block the spam it should have and blocked plenty that it shouldn't have.

Overall, MailWasher Pro is a good product but allows more than the average amount of Spam to reach your Inbox even though they were marked for deletion.
